Preston Primary School

During the recent Parent Information Nights there were several questions relating to the mathematics curriculum.  The main questions were "What is covered at each grade level?" and "How is it taught?" 

We have put together the following set of guidelines to ensure both teachers and parents are aware of the minimum expectations at Preston Primary and to ensure that there is consistency in the way we go about teaching maths.  It covers the areas to be taught, the language that is used and often the primary methods to be used.
