The School Council, made up of parents and staff, guides the school’s strategic and financial direction to ensure the best possible learning opportunities for our students.

Sub-committees
At Preston Primary School we have two sub-committees which are advisory groups that assist the school council with their decisions. Each committee includes a school councillor along with interested parents and staff.
- Finance : Oversees the School’s budget and financial transactions.
- Community Engagement and Sustainability : Will focus on organising events for the school including fundraising events and other social opportunities for families to connect. The group are already planning to organise some of our favourite events from previous years including the Comedy Night (Term 3), the Trivia Night and the movie night.
